Chicago Small Group Personal Training

Small group personal training or group fitness has several advantages. One of the main advantages to the Small group Personal Training (PT) program is having the personal attention of a certified personal trainer in a group setting. You will receive the same level of service as having your own personal trainer but for a fraction of the cost. Schedule a time with your friends or meet fellow TDC members.

Whatโ€™s Small Group Personal Training Like?

TDC MMAย  + Fitnessโ€™ group personal training sessions usually have between 2-6 participants.ย You can expect high-intensity workouts that focus on strength, agility, power and much more. If you have any injuries Coach Tim can help modify the suggested workouts to suit your ability. While you are working through the current workout, our personal trainers will make sure you have proper alignment and technique. Unlike a crowded class, you will get the individual attention you need to ensure you are getting the most from your workout.

Hereโ€™s an example of a Work Out of the Day:

1A) DB Row with Pause at Bottom โ€“ 15 reps
1B) DB Chest Press โ€“ 10 reps
Rest 30 seconds between exercises.
Rest 60 seconds before repeating the superset two more times.

2A) Farmerโ€™s Walk โ€“ 100 steps
2B) Decline Spiderman Pushup (alternating) โ€“ Max reps per side
Rest 15 seconds between exercises.
Rest 60 seconds before repeating the superset two more times.

3A) Total Body Extension โ€“ Max reps in 60 seconds
3B) Close-Grip Pushups (holding KB handles, if possible) โ€“ Max reps
3C) TRX Biceps Curls โ€“ 12 reps
3D) TRX Triceps Extensions โ€“ 12 reps (3-0-1-0)
3E) TRX Rear-Delt-Fly โ€“ 12 reps (1-0-2-0)
3F) Plank 1 min

Rest 15 seconds between exercises.
Rest 60 seconds before repeating the circuit two more times.
